Herald Community Newspapers and RichnerLive are hosting a summer Senior Health & Beyond Expo on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Merrick Jewish Centre. This free event is dedicated to enhancing the health and lifestyle of Long Island seniors. Families and caregivers are welcome to attend.

The Senior Health & Beyond Expo features over forty exhibitors; companies whose specialties range from healthcare, insurance, fitness, financial and estate planning, and more. Experts from various industries will provide valuable information during a panel discussion and subsequent Q&A session.

Following the panel discussion, Howard Newman performs his Jokesercise Show, a hilarious bit conceived just for seniors that combines comedy and exercise.

Each attendee receives a goody bag, courtesy of Long Beach Assisted Living, as well as a Senior Savings Coupon Booklet, created specially for this event with local deals. Attendees have the chance to win door prizes and giveaways, including the Grand Prize: a $500 gift card.

Event registration includes refreshments and light-bites, hearing screenings and Mary Kay consultations, along with a 52-week gift subscription to a Herald Community Newspaper. Convenient free parking is provided.
